Dr. Adam Saunders, DDS

     Dr. Adam Saunders grew up locally in the town of Pinetops, N.C. While growing up, he was active in the Boy Scouts of America, during which time he earned his Eagle Scout designation and cultivated his love for the outdoors. In 1999, Dr. Saunders graduated with honors from East Carolina University. After East Carolina University. Dr. Saunders graduated from Dental School at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2003. He scored in the 99% percentile, of all dental students in the nation, on both national board exams. 

     Since then, he continues his love of learning in the dental field through numerous continuing education courses in cosmetic and restorative dentistry.  The courses include those with Dr. Frank Spear and Dr. Gordon Christensen.  He has been in the Tar River study club since 2003.  In addition to his passion for dentistry, he has a love of sculptural art, which carries through to his dental work. In his free time, Dr. Saunders likes to experiment with new cooking recipes and with creative photography. He lives in Rocky Mount with his wife, Mandy, his high school sweetheart.
